webOS 2.0 Bugs Galore - Continuous Looping Charging Notifications

Anyone who reads this siteregularly knows I've experienced a ton of webOS 2.0 bugs. I've talked to all levels of support at Palm and there's just no getting around it. webOS 2.0 is notready for prime time.
I'll have more on that later, but one of the most frustrating bugs is the Touchstone charge looping notifications at you. It just keeps telling you that it's charging, and it keeps chiming and dinging. But you know that already right? I found that if the battery was below 95% it would work, but once it got to 95% charge it starting looping through the notifications.
You've probably heard thesuggestion that you put paper or a business card between the Pre and the charger. Don't do it. The answer is to replace the back cover of your Pre. If the spacing isn't exactly right between the contactson the cover and the charging terminals on the inside of the Pre, it will loop through. Just change the back cover and you're set. That's assuming the new cover you get has thecorrect spacing.
